Larsen & Toubro has received a significant order valued up to $285 million from the Nuclear Power Corporation of India for work on the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant in Tamil Nadu. The contract includes the installation of mechanical systems for units 5 and 6, enhancing India's nuclear capacity as part of its clean energy initiative. The Kudankulam plant, already India's largest nuclear power station, is expanding to include additional reactors while the government aims to boost nuclear power capacity to 22 GW by 2032.
