Launch Academy Opens Applications for Offshore Wind Accelerator Programme in the UK

The Launch Academy, managed by ORE Catapult, is accepting applications for its offshore wind accelerator programme, aimed at supporting UK SMEs with innovative solutions in the sector. Since its inception in 2020, the programme has aided 74 companies in raising £27.5m in private investment and £11.7m in grants, with a total of 153 patents filed.
This year's sponsors include ScottishPower Renewables, EDF Power Solutions, and JERA Nex bp. The initiative focuses on developing technologies and solutions to enhance the UK's offshore wind supply chain, with the programme set to start in June 2026.
