LH2 Shipping has obtained NOK 299 million in funding from the Norwegian state agency Enova to construct two hydrogen-powered bulk carriers, part of the NordBulk Project in collaboration with Strand Shipping Bergen. This latest grant adds to a previous award of NOK 237.6 million, totaling over NOK 536 million in state-backed funding for four hydrogen-fueled vessels.

The funding aims to support the construction phase and aligns with the decarbonization goals of both LH2 Shipping and Strand Shipping. This initiative is positioned as a significant move towards reducing emissions in the maritime industry.
