Lockhart City Council Approves Infrastructure Projects and Tax Increment Zone Creation

The Lockhart City Council approved several infrastructure initiatives during their February 22 meeting, including a police facility needs assessment that may lead to a new headquarters. They also authorized a public hearing for the creation of a Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone for the Seawillow development and renewed a Cemetery Maintenance Agreement. Additional updates included agreements for the LK20 Copper Replacement Project and planning amendments for the Downtown Revitalization Project.
