On November 10, 2025, a Long March-12 rocket successfully launched the 13th group of internet satellites from Hainan's commercial spaceport, marking the seventh successful mission since the site's opening in 2022. The spaceport, which features two launch pads and is undergoing Phase II construction to add two more by the end of 2026, aims for an annual capacity of over 60 missions. The surrounding aerospace industrial park is also contributing to the growth of Hainan's commercial space sector, with over 700 aerospace-related companies established.
