STRATEGIC MINERALS

Malawian President Peter Mutharika announced a suspension of mining license issuance and a ban on raw mineral exports during his State of the Nation Address. This includes a full audit of the licensing registry as part of a reform aimed at improving the mining sector's contribution to the economy.
