Mammoet has successfully completed the heavy lifting of natural gas/hydrogen combined cycle gas turbines and other components for EnBW's new power plant in Altbach, Germany. The project involved lifting 15 heat recovery steam generator modules and six prefabricated stack modules, utilizing a just-in-time delivery plan and a temporary jetty to manage logistics while keeping an adjacent coal-fired power plant operational. Precise leveling of the CCGT units was achieved through the use of strand jacks integrated into the crane rigging.
