U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Angela Alsobrooks announced $29.6 million in federal funding for 28 community-led projects in Maryland. The funding, part of the 2026 Interior Environmental Appropriations bill, aims to improve drinking water infrastructure, modernize stormwater systems, and support Chesapeake Bay restoration efforts.
