McAllister Towing Advances Bridgeport Ferry Terminal Amid Offshore Wind Project Issues

WIND ENERGYDEFENSE

McAllister Towing is advancing plans for a new ferry terminal in Bridgeport, adjacent to the Steelpointe Harbor development, following legislation that exempts it from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers approval. The terminal, designed by AECOM and located on a site purchased for $2.63 million in 2013, aims to expand operations with a fourth boat, independent of the delayed Revolution Wind project, which has the support of Governor Ned Lamont.
