Merdeka Copper Gold Targets Doubling Gold Output to 205,000 Ounces in 2026 Amid Nickel Expansion

PT Merdeka Copper Gold aims for gold production of 180,000 to 205,000 ounces in 2026, nearly doubling 2025 output of 103,156 ounces. This increase will come from the Pani Gold Mine and Tujuh Bukit Gold Mine, pending approval from the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry.
The Tujuh Bukit mine sold 104,168 ounces of gold in 2025, with a 32% price increase. The Pani Gold Mine is on track for initial production in Q1 2026 after commencing key operational activities.
