Merus Power Signs €13 Million Energy Storage Deal with Neve Oy for Arctic Conditions in Finland

Merus Power Oyj has secured a €13 million contract with Neve Oy to deliver a 30 MW/80 MWh battery energy storage system in Rovaniemi by the end of 2026. The facility is engineered for extreme Arctic conditions, capable of withstanding temperatures as low as -50 °C.

This technology will support grid stability and enhance operational reliability in harsh environments. The agreement includes operations and maintenance services, reinforcing Merus Power's position in the Nordic energy storage market.
