Mexico's government, led by President Claudia Sheinbaum, announced a MX$37 billion investment for infrastructure in Baja California, including roads, education, and water systems. The investment aims to create 64,257 jobs.

Key projects include the inauguration of Tijuana's elevated viaduct, a two-stage project totaling 11.4 km, designed to significantly reduce travel times. Additionally, MX$16.7 billion will be allocated for water infrastructure, including a new desalination plant in Rosarito.
