MGA Thermal Secures $3.25M ARENA Funding for Thermal Energy Storage Commercialization

ENERGY STORAGE

MGA Thermal has received $3.25 million from ARENA to enhance commercialization of its thermal energy storage (TES) technology. The funding will support five front-end engineering design studies aimed at deploying TES technology for industrial heat and power applications.

The patented Miscibility Gap Alloy (MGA) material enables large-scale energy storage with high efficiency. The studies will facilitate investment readiness and broader adoption of TES in Australia’s industrial sector.
