Microsoft to Source Power from Helion's Upcoming Fusion Plant by 2028

Helion, a startup supported by Sam Altman of OpenAI and SoftBank's venture capital arm, has initiated construction on its first nuclear fusion power plant. The facility is expected to provide electricity to Microsoft's data centers by 2028. Additionally, Helion is expanding its workforce, with 25 job openings available.
