MMG's Rosebery mine in Tasmania marks its 90th anniversary of continuous operation this year, highlighting its significance as one of Australia's longest-running mines. The mine, located 300 km northwest of Hobart, began continuous operations in February 1936.

It produces zinc, copper, lead concentrates, and gold doré using mechanised underground mining methods. The mine aims to operate well beyond 100 years, supported by its largest mineral resource to date and ongoing exploration efforts. Celebratory events for the workforce and community are planned throughout the year.
