Morgan Offshore has withdrawn from the Fylde Wind Farm Project off the Lancashire coast due to a lack of government support, which has made the initiative economically unviable. The project, which aimed to install 96 turbines to generate 1500MW of electricity for nearly two million homes annually, will not proceed as a result of this decision, according to Fylde MP Andrew Snowden.
