Morocco's wind energy capacity reached 2,390 MW by the end of 2024, marking an 18.5% increase from the previous year and accounting for 20% of the total electricity capacity. This growth was driven by the commissioning of new wind projects, contributing to a 43% rise in wind power generation, which now represents 21% of national electricity production.
