Motor Oil's MORE Completes 72 MW Battery Systems in Greece

Motor Oil Hellas has successfully installed 72 MW of battery energy storage systems with a total capacity of 144 MWh at three locations in Greece within three months. These facilities, among the first of their scale in the country, aim to lower electricity prices and improve energy security, with funding from Greece's National Recovery and Resilience Plan and the EU's Recovery and Resilience Facility. The projects were selected in 2024 through a competitive process by the Regulatory Authority for Energy.
