The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) has teamed up with Loughborough University to develop hydrogen-compatible manufacturing systems aimed at the aerospace, automotive, and power generation sectors. This initiative, part of the EnerHy doctoral training centre, focuses on enhancing the reliability, efficiency, and safety of hydrogen machinery while addressing challenges like hydrogen embrittlement. The project will include a fully funded doctoral research position for eligible UK candidates and will take place at Loughborough's Wolfson School and MTC's Ansty Park facilities.
