NASA Moves Artemis I SLS Rocket to Launch Pad for First Manned Moon Flight Since 1972
SPACE ECONOMY
NASA has moved its Space Launch System (SLS) rocket to the launch pad in preparation for its first crewed mission to the Moon since 1972, with a potential launch as early as February. This mission will not involve a lunar landing, but is a precursor to a planned landing on a future Artemis flight. The crew will include astronauts Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen, and NASA is also inviting the public to submit names for inclusion on an SD card in the Orion capsule.
