Natura Resources and NGL Energy Partners Collaborate on Nuclear Water Treatment Solutions in Permian Basin

Natura Resources LLC has partnered with NGL Water Solutions Permian LLC to develop a large-scale produced water treatment system in the Permian Basin, combining a 100-megawatt molten-salt reactor with thermal desalination. This collaboration aims to manage over 20 million barrels of produced water daily, providing a sustainable water source for various industries while enhancing energy security and enabling critical mineral extraction. The first commercial-scale reactor is planned for deployment in 2029.
