HYDROGEN
The Neom Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) reports that its green hydrogen project in Saudi Arabia's Oxagon has surpassed 80% completion, with plans for production to begin in 2027. The facility will integrate 4 gigawatts of renewable energy to produce up to 600 tonnes of carbon-free hydrogen daily.
Supported by an $8.4 billion financial close and a 30-year offtake agreement with Air Products, the project aims to position Saudi Arabia as a leading low-carbon fuel exporter. The completion of this ambitious project could herald a new era for green hydrogen globally.
