NGEN Group has invested EUR 50 million to acquire Liepāja ESS in Latvia, marking the development of the first Tesla-integrated battery storage project in the Baltics. The facility will feature a power capacity of 100 MW and 200 MWh, enhancing Latvia's energy infrastructure and security, particularly following its disconnection from the BRELL network. Operations are expected to begin in the second half of the year, supported by NATO supply chains and favorable regulations in Latvia.
