A consortium of geoscientists has formed a partnership between NHSG and Metatek to enhance exploration methods for natural hydrogen. This collaboration aims to identify commercial accumulations of hydrogen gas in subsurface environments using advanced technologies and insights gathered since 2022. The partnership combines NHSG's expertise in gas phase generation from ultramafic rocks and Metatek's subsurface imaging technologies, with a focus on developing integrated workflows for evaluating hydrogen source rocks.
