Nidhogg Resources Holding AB is participating as an industrial partner in a project application led by Luleå University of Technology for the Swedish Energy Agency's program on sustainable extraction of rare earth elements. The MAP-BIO-MINE project aims to develop environmentally friendly extraction methods using biotechnology and digital processes.

A funding decision from the Swedish Energy Agency is expected in Q2 2026. Nidhogg will handle geological mapping and sampling in the Vintjärn and Sellnäs areas, known for their rare earth element concentrations.
