Nigeria's Minister of Communications, Bosun Tijani, announced that 20 million Nigerians lacking internet access will benefit from improved connectivity by 2027 due to ongoing infrastructure projects. Key initiatives include a 90,000-kilometer fiber optic network supported by the World Bank, two new communication satellites, and 3,700 telecom towers in rural areas.
The government is also enhancing digital skills through programs like the Three Million Technical Talent (3MTT). Ongoing discussions emphasize the need for reliable electricity to achieve digital inclusion.
