NLC India Limited Reports Record H1 FY26 Performance and Unveils Corporate Plan 2030 with 20 GW Capacity

NLC India Limited announced a record revenue of ₹8,004.02 crore for H1 FY 2025-26, a 13.77% increase, and a profit after tax of ₹1,564.01 crore. The company commissioned Unit-2 (660 MW) at the Ghatampur Thermal Power Plant, bringing total capacity to 1,320 MW.

NLCIL's Corporate Plan 2030 aims for over 20 GW capacity, including 10 GW of renewables and 10 GW of thermal power. Key initiatives include developing 5 GWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems, advancing green hydrogen projects, and enhancing ESG performance.

The investment plan is projected at ₹1.5-1.7 lakh crore by 2030. NLCIL is also implementing various renewable energy projects across states including Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Assam, targeting 10 GW of renewable capacity by 2030. The company is preparing for an IPO of its subsidiary NIRL to support its renewable expansion.
