NordSpace has secured a $335,000 grant from the National Research Council of Canada to advance its additive manufacturing processes for rocket engines, collaborating with the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology and SWMS. The project aims to integrate high-speed laser deposition and AI-driven path planning to enhance manufacturing capabilities, supporting NordSpace's goal to develop medium-lift Titan-class launch vehicles by the early 2030s. Updates on the initiative will be presented at the Canadian Space Launch Conference in May 2026.
