Nova Power & Gas has launched a 200MW/400MWh battery energy storage system in Floresti, Romania, as part of a €350 million investment that also includes a gas plant and additional BESS projects. Concurrently, European Energy has begun operations on a 200MWh BESS at its Kvosted solar plant in Denmark, while various companies across Europe, including Trinasolar and BRUC, have announced significant BESS projects in Hungary and Spain, respectively. Gresham House Energy Storage Fund is also expanding its portfolio with acquisitions in Scotland and England.
