Octavia Carbon, a leader in direct air capture technology in the global south, has announced a significant ten-year offtake agreement supported by the carbonfuture marketplace. This deal will enable the company to deliver kiloton-scale carbon dioxide removal, expanding its client base to over 20 corporate partners.

The project's strategic location in Kenya's Great Rift Valley will facilitate safe CO2 storage through carbon mineralization. Octavia aims to launch its Hummingbird project by late 2025, with an initial capacity of 250 metric tons per year, increasing to 1,000 tons annually.
