Ofwat Confirms Southern Water's Completion of 2019 Enforcement Actions and Additional Commitments

WATER INFRASTRUCTURE & DESALINATION

Ofwat has confirmed that Southern Water has completed all actions from its 2019 investigation, including £126m in penalties and improvements across 293 wastewater treatment works. Southern Water will now undertake additional measures to ensure compliance with broader wastewater obligations, backed by a £13.5m investment from shareholders, to be completed by 2030.
