Oil India Limited and RVUNL Forge Joint Venture to Develop 1.2 GW Renewable Energy Projects in Rajasthan

Oil India Limited has signed a joint venture agreement with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited to establish a company focused on developing 1.2 GW of renewable energy capacity, including 1,000 MW of solar and 200 MW of wind power. This collaboration aims to leverage Oil India's expertise and RVUNL's experience in power project development. The project aligns with India's renewable energy goals and Oil India's target of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2040, contributing significantly to the country's green energy transition.
