Oil India Limited has entered into a joint venture with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) to develop 1.2 GW of renewable energy projects in Rajasthan, comprising 1,000 MW of solar and 200 MW of wind power. This collaboration aims to leverage Oil India's expertise alongside RVUNL’s experience in power project development to provide sustainable energy solutions. The agreement also coincides with a separate pact with Hindustan Copper Limited for mineral exploration, highlighting Oil India's commitment to diversifying its portfolio beyond traditional oil and gas.
