CIRCULAR ECONOMY & RECYCLINGHYDROGENWATER INFRASTRUCTURE & DESALINATION
Oman regularly produces approximately 240 tonnes of sulfur per day, primarily from gas processing operations at Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) facilities. This production supports various industries, reduces import dependence, and strengthens the economy. The Ministry of Energy and Minerals is optimizing resource use and has initiated projects to enhance sulfur recovery and utilization, including partnerships with companies like Green Fertilizers, which will build a plant in Ibri with a capacity of 400 tonnes per day.
