Omani startup Orbital Kinetics Bureau (OKB) and US firm Launch On Demand (LOD) have partnered to establish the National Space Academy, aimed at developing a skilled workforce in Oman’s space sector. This initiative, signed at the Middle East Space Conference 2026, aligns with Oman’s National Space Programme and Vision 2040, with plans to certify over 500 professionals by 2028 and enhance the country's capabilities in space technology.
