Origis Energy Launches Swift Air Solar to Support Direct Air Capture in Texas
CARBON CAPTURE
Origis Energy is leading the construction and operation of the Swift Air Solar installation in Ector County, Texas, which began operating in April 2025. This large-scale solar facility, with a capacity of 145 MW, supplies electricity to Occidental Petroleum's direct air capture facility, Stratos. By addressing the significant energy demands of direct air capture, Swift Air Solar has already powered 49,000 homes and reduced carbon emissions by 250,000 metric tons.
