OX2 Begins Construction of 277 MW Onshore Wind Farms in Finland

WIND ENERGY

OX2 has commenced construction on three onshore wind farms in Finland totaling 277 MW capacity. The projects include the 124 MW Kannisto wind farm in Central Ostrobothnia, the 108 MW Korkeamaa wind farm in Southern Ostrobothnia, and the 45 MW Salo-Ylikoski wind farm, also in Southern Ostrobothnia.

Together, these farms are projected to generate approximately 860 GWh annually. The Kannisto farm is expected to be operational by 2028, while Korkeamaa and Salo-Ylikoski are anticipated to start in 2027.

All farms are backed by long-term power purchase agreements with corporate offtakers and financed through a package from KfW IPEX-Bank, NatWest, Nordea, and SEB. This investment increases OX2's renewable energy capacity in Finland to 750 MW, marking a significant step in the company's growth strategy.
