Pekat Group Bhd's subsidiary, Pentas RE Sdn Bhd, has secured a 21-year Power Purchase Agreement for a 25MW solar photovoltaic facility with a 40MWh battery storage system in Kuantan, Pahang, valued at RM239 million. The agreement, with an undisclosed industrial off-taker, underscores Pekat's commitment to clean energy and the growing demand for solar and battery solutions in Malaysia. Pentas RE will oversee the design, construction, ownership, and operation of the facility throughout the contract period.
