Pendleton Secures $2.5 Million for Renewable Energy Initiatives

Pendleton has received over $2.5 million in grants for renewable energy projects, including $1 million for a battery energy storage system and $1.5 million for wind turbines and micro-hydroelectric generation at the Resource Recovery Facility. Additionally, the city secured $70,000 for energy audits at the Convention Center and City Hall to enhance efficiency.
