PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk has initiated a green hydrogen pilot project in Ulubelu, aiming to produce approximately 100 kilograms of green hydrogen daily. This initiative is expected to set a precedent for future green hydrogen developments across the company's geothermal sites.

Additionally, it will support Pertamina's downstream projects in green ammonia and green methanol, facilitating a transition to sustainable energy solutions. The company is simultaneously expanding its geothermal operations in Sumatra, with new power plants and feasibility studies underway.
