PGE has initiated the Ulubelu green hydrogen pilot project, marking a significant step in its transformation towards a low-carbon industry. President Director Julfi Hadi highlighted that this facility will serve as an innovation hub while promoting an integrated green business model.

The project, supported by government ministries, aims to utilize geothermal energy and advanced electrolysis technology to produce up to 100 kilograms of green hydrogen daily. It also seeks to explore further applications in green ammonia and green methanol, reinforcing Indonesia's commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2060.
