PLD Space is making significant strides toward the 2026 launch of its Miura 5 rocket from the Guiana Space Centre in French Guiana. The two-stage rocket, which features partial reusability and a capacity of 540 kg to low Earth orbit, has successfully completed hot-fire tests and is finalizing its flight unit design, while ground support equipment is being prepared in Spain. The Miura 5 is projected to conduct up to 30 missions annually, capable of transporting 1,080 kg to equatorial orbit at 500 km altitude.
