Plia has launched the Mesh Home Battery, an affordable plug-and-play backup power system priced at $1,299, designed to capture solar energy and provide power for essential appliances during outages for up to 32 hours. Developed by former Tesla engineer Cole Ashman, the system requires no tools for installation and aims to make energy storage accessible for both renters and homeowners. With $4 million in funding secured, Plia is now accepting reservations for delivery this year.
