Plug Power has signed a 15-year license agreement with Walmart, allowing the retailer conditional access to its GenKey System maintenance manuals while managing maintenance for its hydrogen fuel cell forklifts. The deal is expected to generate immediate licensing fees for Plug Power and supports Walmart's hydrogen supply strategy through 2030.

Additionally, Plug Power is pursuing a $1.66 billion loan from the U.S. Department of Energy as part of its Project Quantum Leap initiative.
