The Port of Seattle's 2025 cruise season report highlights a significant increase in shore power usage, with eight home port ships achieving 65% utilization during 298 port calls, up from 42% in 2024. This progress aligns with the 2027 mandate for all home port ships to use 100% shore power. Additionally, the port partnered with Carnival Corp. to test biofuel bunkering on three Holland America Line sailings.
