Powerhouse Energy Group plc has secured a 25-year lease for a 1.98-acre site at Silverwood Business Park in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, to establish a facility that will convert 40 tonnes of waste per day into 99.999% pure hydrogen. The lease includes a potential rent-free period of up to 12 months and requires planning approval from the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council. The company is currently in discussions regarding feedstock and offtake agreements.
