PPC Romania is set to construct a 15 MWh battery storage system at its Căciulați transformer station in Ilfov, with an investment of EUR 3.6 million. This project aims to enhance energy storage capabilities in response to the growing reliance on renewable energy sources in Romania. Additionally, PPC is investing in storage systems at six local renewable plants and has pledged EUR 3 billion to its Romanian operations over the next three years.
