Prominence Energy has initiated its first geochemical survey for natural hydrogen and helium at the Gawler project in South Australia. This follows the successful acquisition of the project and aims to identify exploration targets.

The survey is set to begin in April 2026 and will utilize soil gas and water bore sampling methods. Results will inform future seismic and drilling activities expected to start in the second half of 2026. The company reported a net loss of A$1,164,040 in FY2025 and secured A$1.75 million in funding for exploration.
