PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk appointed Ahmad Yani as President Director, succeeding Julfi Hadi, during an Extraordinary General Meeting on January 20, 2026. Yani, formerly Operations Director, aims to enhance geothermal energy's role in Indonesia's energy transition, targeting 1 GW capacity in 2-3 years and 1.8 GW by 2033, while continuing innovations such as green hydrogen projects. Under his leadership, PGEO achieved record production in 2025.
