The Nghe An Provincial People's Committee approved the investment consortium led by PV Power for the Quynh Lap LNG Power Plant project. The consortium includes PV Power, Nghe An Sugar Company, and SK Innovation from South Korea.

The project, with a total investment of over 59.372 trillion VND, will feature a 1,500 MW power plant and a 250,000 m3 LNG storage facility. It aims to enhance clean energy development, reduce carbon emissions, and boost economic growth in Nghe An.
